What's happening during National Flea Week?
Many practices around the UK are taking part in National Flea Week, each in their own way. Some are offering free flea checks and others are creating waiting room displays so you can find out more about fleas.
Plus, this year TV presenter and dedicated dog owner Anthea Turner is backing vets in their fight against fleas and heading up the National Flea Week campaign. She’ll be calling on pet owners to visit their vets during National Flea Week - and to visit this website too - in order to find out how easy it is to protect their pets.
Of course, whether your local practice is participating in the week or not, your vet can always offer you expert advice on fleas, the problems they cause and how you can pledge to protect your pets, and your home, against them.
